Panel III: Discussing the initiative of developing criteria for the accreditation of autism centers in the Arab region

1- Preparing a study for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on how to establish a center that provides rehabilitative services for people with autism in the year 2002/1421 AH based on the request of the Most High (Team Leader)
2- A national survey study on the prevalence of autism in the Kingdom in 1426/2006 (head of the research team in charge)
3- Participation in preparing the national project to deal with developmental disorders and autism, which was approved by the Council of Ministers No. 5330/R, dated 10/4/1423 - 2003 AD.
4- Establishing autism units in comprehensive rehabilitation centers in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and preparing regulations and procedures for admission, evaluation, and providing comprehensive rehabilitation services in 1428/2008 AD.

5- Writing the book “Autism between Diagnosis and Treatment” published by the Ministry in 1432 AH/2012 AD.
6- Preparing a study on the prevalence of autism cases in residential rehabilitation centers affiliated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs 1433/2013 AD.
7- Preparing an autism technical diploma (four semesters, one semester with distinction).
With the approval of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and approval of the classification in the salary scale at the sixth rank, third class, from the Ministry of Civil Service 1431/2011 AD.
8- Founder and member of the Board of Directors of the first institution/national association specializing in autism in 1998 (Special Education Academy (for Autism)/Saudi Charitable Society for Autism and Secretary-General.
